Everyone deserves a love that is true and pure, a love that is kind and generous, a love that respects and accommodates, and a love that is tender and forgiving.
Everyone deserves one who possesses these qualities and everyone ought also to be one with these qualities too.
Love shouldn't be a one-sided thing or factor, likewise the qualities.
One shouldn't expect to be loved genuinely and tenderly when he or she can't give a measure of what he or she seeks or desires.
If love should be a reciprocated emotion then the qualities that term from loving a person should equally be reciprocated too.

You can't treat the person you say you love with so much disrespect and call it love, especially if the other person showers you with the respect you are depriving him or her of.
The same goes for kindness, generosity, loyalty, and truthfulness.
Everything that makes a person lovable should be mutual.
As much as feelings and emotions are mutual, the same should be for the qualities or attributes of love.
Lovers shouldn't find it difficult to reciprocate every quality that makes their relationship lovable.
Inasmuch as love should be a two-way flow, then should everything that encompasses love.

Do you respect your partner?
Are you kind to them?
Do you forgive them if they erred?
How much do you display or pull up an act of generosity towards your partner?
Or are you rather the nagging type?
One who keeps receiving and treating your partner in an ill manner?
One who is unforgiving yet demands forgiveness every time you are wrong or err?
Perhaps you should take a moment to ponder and examine yourself
Are you doing the right thing?
Can your attitude towards your partner be spoken well of?
If yes, then you are good but if No, then it's high time you sit up for a change.

Whenever something is not mutual, such doesn't last for a very long time, perhaps you should keep this in mind and be a better person towards your partner.
