Are You Your Partner's Spec?
Are you truly a spec? Or better still, are you your spec's spec? I know it might not really make any sense to us at the moment but let's pause for a while and ponder on what I just said.
We are aware of the trending thing about SPEC, we often hear ladies and even guys talk about their spec of man or woman. Those features they desire and admire in their partners and when they meet such people, those who meet or possess these standards or qualities, they call them A SPEC. It is nothing new and we often use it here a lot.
But my question is, are you truly someone's spec? Or does your supposed kind of spec admire and desire your qualities? Are you truly your spec's spec?.
Today while having fun at the wedding ceremony I and my friends went to, we made mention of this spec talk and we started talking about our kind of man and what we desire, then came the question or perhaps a statement I made;
what if in the end, God doesn't really give us our kind of person or spec like we call it? what if our definition of a spec or perfect person Isn't or wasn't really who was meant for us?
The response my friend gave was that we were all created in the image and likeness of God and so that her kind of person would definitely be good and a spec. She said her God cannot give her what is not good since the person he will give to her will be in his likeness. Well, at this point I don't wanna go all scriptural about what my friend said or explain further what we discussed.
But in the actual sense, we could really craft out our kind of man and woman, and with certain features we desire in them but in the end, it really isn't who was truly meant for us or what God had made for us. Does it mean those people aren't specs? Perhaps they are others out there that like their kind of person.
So while becoming very skeptical about your spec and your kind of partner, ask yourself again, are you truly your spec's spec? Does your spec also want you or desire you as much as you do him or her? The features and qualities your spec needs do you possess? Ponder on this while you go about talking of a spec and what you desire.
