I didn't want to begin this year with one of my lazy works, too bad I dragged my laziness to the new year, how sad :( This is one of last year's abandoned works. I wasn't feeling the vibe to work on new sketches so I decided to check my draft and work on my previous unfinished works.
I scroll way down to early 2022 and found this one. I was still feeling reluctant to work on it, and because of this, I used two days to fine-tune the piece, tho it's not exactly how I wanted it but I really do not care since it's an old work that I was only eager to take out of my draft.

I changed some details of the work, if you notice in my work process, I started the brows with black color and it was bigger than what I ended up with after the change. Even the eyes changed from tiny sleepy nature to full not so bulgy eyes with little detail on them. And the concept of hair changed too.
This is what happens if you abandoned a particular work for a very long time, you end up changing most of the style or details if not everything in the work.

I like the penultimate process without the hair, this is because I am not just feeling the hair at all. I am crazy about hair in my sketch so when it does not turn out the way I want, I don't tend to feel anything for it, perhaps that's also the reason why I had to place it last and rather use the step without the hair as my thumbnail, I prefer it to the one with hair.
I am still working on my detailing, I believe I just have to keep sketching every day and trying out new approaches until I am quite better at this.
