6 AM...! if I actually did check the time, I woke up, said my morning prayers, get over with my morning/ household routine and chores, and then settled my ass to write something.
Starting my device (phone) and switching on my data connection to get started, I got a lot of pop-up messages from my social handles one of which was Facebook.
It was a direct message from one distant known person. I decided to check it out before coming over here to pour out my mind and piece for the day.
I don't know if it was quite a wise idea but either way, no regrets at all.
We spoke for some minutes and I got to discover some things from the person which I won't really list out here for the sake of not derailing from the main focus of this article.
Amidst the things we discussed was one's niche.
Yes, it turns out the person was or is also an hiver and a newbie if I am allowed to put it that way.

We spoke a little about our personal life but with the main focus on hive. And while having a good discussion, I tipped in the question of how he was fairing and coping with this space (hive).
The first funny response I got was; Hive has made me appreciate the topic "WAVE" in physics lol. Even I was confused about where he was driving to or what his point was exactly, so I had a good laugh and then asked him what he meant.
He responded again; I mean the up and down movement, those were still parabolic and I needed clear and straight terms.
I asked if he meant the hive price fluctuations, and he said not exactly though it could be one of them but his main focus was about content creations.

For some, especially newbies, we can tell how taskful it is to create content and how one could run out of inspiration and all. At this point writing or blogging generally becomes very difficult and brain-cracking.
We've been there and so every one of us can tell the story of how it used to be or how it is sometimes.

Considering his response, I had to ask what he blogs about, what's his major focus and also if he has found his niche on the hive blockchain? He told me his areas of specialty and if I am to consider this area, it's quite tasking cause it's something I have a passion for as well and i understand how it is. But looking at that particular niche on hive here, it takes a lot to be noticed or even supported.
As we all know that Hive is wide and it seems there is no end to it, and as such, some content gets hidden in the crowd so even if one finds his or her niche, standing out could be a bit difficult, demanding extra effort too.

Speaking of niche, I told him how I love what he does too since it's liked-passion. He said he never thought it was my niche since I don't do it often and here is when I gave him his piece of a good laugh too, perhaps I should quote it the way it was;

But that's not really my niche when it comes to Hive though... I can be so many things on hive cause I am a lot of things😅😅🤣😂😂

That was the reply I gave him when he acted surprised that I have passion for what he does too.
And so there goes my focus for this article.

More Than A Niche

Well, the truth is, not just on hive, I am a jack of so many trades (I wouldn't say ALL TRADES, cause it isn't all). I do more than one thing and I try more than one thing, some just for the knowledge's sake, while some just for passion's sake, and the remaining percent could be because of my financial drive, goals, and aspirations.
So I told him I can be anything when it comes to hive, I can do or try anything but only if I want to. I don't like forcing things but I also can adapt to my environment when the need arises or when necessary.

And speaking of Hive? I have more than just a niche. Finding my niche isn't really a problem cause I easily identify with what I love and what I want.
And just like he said that he didn't think I do the same thing he does, well, that's because I don't just focus my energy on one particular niche. If you ask me, it's no fun, it can get really boring for me. I make financial articles once in a while because that really isn't my niche but it doesn't also mean I can't try, but I wouldn't force it since it's not my niche.
I write stories and fiction, poetry and all, but sometimes I don't just focus on those either.
I make sketches and art pieces, but you don't get to see these often either.
I cook and bake, but you could also scroll through my articles/blog and notice that I haven't put that up for months now or even a year depending.
I love photography and it's quite a thing for me but that is also limited in my blog.
Dancing? if only there was a medium here for that, I wouldn't mind trying but trust me that wouldn't be something you would get to see every day either.
I knit, I recreate/recycle, I craft, I sculpt, etc.

So you see? I am actually a jack of so many things but does that make me stick to one niche? It's not even possible if you ask me. Maybe for others, it might be, but for me, it's not something I can do or wanna do, to be frank. I get bored doing the same thing over and over again. I like to explore and try as many things as possible, the sweet feeling of adventure. There is no way I could have or stick to just one niche, not possible for me.
So when I see people saying this is my niche and all, I tend to just overlook it cause I can never understand the feeling of doing one thing over and over again.
Same tone, same direction, and a similar message in every article, phewww.

I mean the is nothing wrong with just taking a break and going out of the normal thing you do or create. Sometimes just letting people have an insight into your personal life and blogging can stir some of them up for something you can't even tell or know about.
There is nothing wrong with sharing some experiences whether offline or online. That wouldn't chase you off your niche so to say. But this is just my thinking, you don't even have to take it.
But more than just a niche, you can choose to explore and find out other places that welcome and accommodate your passion, your workspace, your field, your blog experiences, and even your personal life, and stories to keep others motivated.
More than just a niche...!
