The green weekend

Share only two photos that focus on the colour green and write at least 300 words in explanation. It can be anything at all, but the main colour in your two images has to be green. Tell us about the place and situation, when it was and what you were doing there. You have to use your own images though.

When talking about nature and greenery, as an Akwa Ibomite, our first and major focus is mostly at Greenfield located at Brook's street uyo. And another is at Playground otherwise called Unity Park located at Udoudoma still in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
I don't know why it is so, but it seems these are the outstanding nature greenery we have close by and people use it a lot for their hangouts and photo shoots. I am pretty sure a few persons here have shared these two places already or would probably share if we have any Akwa Ibom person here on Hive which I believe we do. So I will try as much as possible to avoid this list.
I mean I have a lot of memories of those two places I mentioned but to avoid sharing the same old stories every time.
Let me avoid talking about those places for today and share something new.

So the photos we have here with this lovely green nature field were taken on the 16th of July, 2022 (just two months ago) in my school.
I still remember this day very well as if it was yesterday.
So I had a call from a friend who is a dancer asking if we could meet up to stretch our bodies a little since it's been a while since we danced or did any rehearsal. Having been starved of dance myself for some months, I didn't even need to give it some thought so I agreed to the dance meet.
Of course, the location happened to be my university. We have a lot of space there to do as we please and we can choose any medium or floor we wanna use lol.

I met up with my friend and then we did a few dance exercises and rehearsed some moves in an open space quite close to the field.
We have many fields out here in my university, all linking to different faculties and departments even the staff offices and medical centers. We decided to take a few snapshots in the field close to my faculty.
The weather was warm and friendly, quite favorable for a photo day, our luck lol. We even ended up making a video shot too.

I can't forget this day in a rush. And sadly, this was my last meet-up with my friend before he traveled back to his hometown. Whenever I miss dancing, I remember he could have set a dance date for us if he was still here in my hometown. All the same, I do hope he returns sooner than expected.
