Beauty and the Moonlight: A Beautiful Romance story [ENG/ESP]

The first time I ever set eyes upon the woman, was when she laid there utterly nude under that pale gleaming moonlight.

Ever so softly, ever so beguiling, ever so beautifully, she adorned her self with the enchanting lunar rays that did out pour from the depth of that full moon.

"Moon bathing!" I believe she called it. Frankly, I had never before heard such two discrete words joint together so in accordance with one another and much more, I had never before seen nor thought that such wild displays of adornment would find it's way into my front yard.

Regardless, i believed that it was destiny that brought the woman to me that night - yes... certainly. Perhaps so, I may be fortuned enough to gaze upon her and draw, through inspiration, the most genuine and sacred of loves that will allow for my soul to ignite and manifest itself upon brush and canvas, with a heavenly touch of divine profoundness. Yes... this I believed and so accordingly, I went to work at once.

Straight, I wheeled in my canvas along with my 6 paint brush sticks and 12 color paint set, and sat at the edge of my balcony just above the woman whom was still sitting silently — taking no notice at all of my presence on the rooftop above. A single dim ray lit up her face momentarily; and then at once, it disappeared once more, leaving only a faint memory of the purest love. I felt most fortunate being able to capture that short beautiful moment.

Stroke upon stroke, shade upon shade, passion upon passion, and trial upon errors; I tried my very best to manifest to painting, the exact same image and vibration — that exact same beauty — I perceived from the woman that night.

Of course, my struggle for perfection that night did not go without ardent endeavors; for you see, dozens and dozens of discarded sketches — some even at the verge of completion — ended up as distasteful rubbish on the floor. I did not have room for imperfection and even so much as so as a little misplaced tint, meant me having to start the portrait from the very beginning!

I followed that passionately and judiciously.

Hours had passed now, and there still, was the woman laying silently and without a single muscle moved. At this time, I must admit I became very deeply worried and began to wonder if the woman was in any distress. But thankfully, all doubts were cleared when she gently moved her legs, reassuring me that she had been asleep all the while and had now only just awoken.

Still, even with all these qualms already cleared, the woman did not at all refute from her consistent displays of adornment and insisted on remaining laying there under the moonlight.

The woman, she never once said anything aloud. But she still looked beautiful. And it was then and only then that I realized how much like myself she actually was.

Much like me, she had been drawn to the mystery, the loneliness, and the silence of the night. Much like what emanated from her was a reflection of myself also... She was not only beautiful — she was true.

I had never imagined that the woman could be so pure, so serene, so luminous – so, perfect! She glowed with an aura of light and purity that gave me the notion that she was the very embodiment of all things magnificent and splendidly exquisite. My heart beat harder, as I observed her movements, I was filled with sheer delight. How could I have not known? Oh, if only I had known.

She was beautiful, and I was mesmerized.

And with love, with reverence, I continued to paint her.

About an hour more passed and I was finally done with the painting. Alas, even with all the magnificent wonders of color that had been painted on canvas, I knew that it could never compare to the surreality of gazing upon her.

By this time, the sun had already begun rising and the woman, no longer sitting, had now begun arranging to leave.

Deep within me, I was burning to divulge something — dieing to convey my heart out to a simple, single statement — or even perhaps, just to a single word. Yes, so atleast, she may know of my presence with her that night. And so, I would be the more content knowing that she hath acknowledged me. But alas, I felt short of words and strength and simply watched her part with me.

And as I watched her disappear from that rooftop, something hopeful yet very naive began blossoming in my heart, that perhaps — just perhaps — she would return again so we may share another divine moment under the moonlight.

Espanol

¿Cómo pude no saberlo?

I honestly love this writing. I could feel the emotion and even had to draw this beautiful lady in my head as I read. It's always amazing sitting under the glowing moon in the cold and silent night. Those moments may be lonely but definitely gold and refreshing. Lovely piece indeed.

Oh my, you mean it?

Thanks bud!

And absolutely, i also enjoy the night as well! There's a certain mystique, calmness, beauty, melancholy, and even loneliness that comes with the night. Then, couple that with the magnificence of the moonlight and the nocturnal soudings of the night, and you have — my favorite time of the day!

I appreciate you stopping by once more. Take care!

Wow. What a beautiful story. I read every word carefully, and I must say, I really enjoyed reading.

I imagined myself to be the character in your story, painting the beautiful woman I hope would be the girl of my dreams.

Hopefully, just hopefully, she would return again and you’ll share a beautiful moment with her under the moonlight.

Thanks for sharing this masterpiece.

Awn, gee.. thanks man!

It always makes for a good story when you combine, romance, a beautiful lady, and the moonlight.

Hopefully indeed. That's all we can do

Felicitaciones.
