¿Y ahora que va hacer el?
La pregunta que me han hecho muchos, una pregunta con muchas respuestas, si es sobre mi hijo Vicent que recién se graduó de Bachiller, que el paso a seguir seria la universidad, pero la universidad no es para todos mas cuando se tiene una condición especial.
Pero todos en esta vida llegan para cumplir una misión, he visto que hay persona con condición que si han llegado a la universidad, pero todo depende de la condición que tenga y también de la discapacidad que tengan, porque son dos cosas muy diferentes: condición y discapacidad.
Y las universidades están abiertas para todos ellos, como es el caso de que ya en muchas instituciones educativas mas que todo desde liceos hasta las universidades y luego en empresas que es ley tener una rampa de acceso para personas minusválidas mas que todo bien sea por si trabajan ahí o van de visita a ese lugar.
Así están las universidades que deben tener esa rampa, para que entren a clases como rampas en la parte interna o ascensores, porque es un derecho de estas personas.
Ahora en cuanto a la condición de personas con autismo que es la condición de mi hijo la de el, es en nivel moderado, tiene sus limitaciones como también sus fortalezas.
Así como le di la oportunidad a mi hija, a el también como lo fue de hacer su inscripción en el registro de universidades o lo que es en Venezuela la Opsu, donde se deben registrar 5 carreras universitarias, así lo hicimos, siendo la primera opción: Mecánica Automotriz que es su gran sueño de siempre y otras mas, todas en la misma ciudad, porque fuera de ella no podría dejarlo, una por su condición y otra por la situación de economía critica que vivimos, si estudiar dentro de la ciudad es costoso, mas lo es fuera.
Hace poco salio el listado de las universidades, busque con el y después de varios intentos que abrió la pagina, para mi mayor alegría, fue que salio asignado, no en lo que el quería, pero salio en algo, que así no vaya a cumplir, porque ellos son unas personas bien centradas en sus decisiones, porque el quiere es mecánica.
Pero como dije el tiene una condición, pero también tiene una misión y una visión, que es la aprender la mecánica y ser un mecánico.
Ademas el me pidió un tiempo para descansar de sus estudios porque para los que son personas normales para ellos es fuerte, porque tienen un grado de responsabilidad alto mas que los otros, que si aquellos no entregaban sus trabajos o hacían sus defensas como que no les importaba mucho, pero a el si y mas que le colocaran su nota, para asi estar satisfecho de que cumplió.
Y yo también necesito de ese descanso, porque siempre le asistí, apoye en todos sus estudios desde primaria hasta llegar a Bachiller, lo cual para mi fue muy satisfactorio, no porque tenga su condición, sino que era mi deber como madre de estar al tanto de su proceso educativo, porque este proceso no es solo de la institución y los profesores no, es de los padres en sus casas, porque la casa es la primera escuela. Pude constatar que muchos de sus compañeros no contaban con el apoyo de sus padres.
Pero ya empieza a salir el sol, para el, para mi y para todas aquellas personas que de verdad lo han apoyado y están atentos a sus progresos, hable con un vecino que tiene un taller, le dije sobre sus deseos de aprender la mecánica, pero también le dije sobre su condición, el cual me acepto y me dijo que lo va a instruir y capacitar en el oficio de la mecánica, pero sin dejar de buscar una institución que ofrezca cursos sobre mecánica.
Y que no les extrañe que yo también aprenda mecánica ja ja ja.
Para terminar una reflexión: "Los hijos son mas de uno, mientras estén, vivamos bajo el mismo techo, aunque siempre lo serán también fuera de el, pero mientras están, podemos apoyarlos mas, que no existan preferencias entre los hijos, darles el mismo amor y dedicación tengan o no condiciones."

So are the universities that should have that ramp, to enter classes as ramps in the internal part or elevators, because it is a right of these people.
Now regarding the condition of people with autism, which is my son's condition, his condition is at a moderate level, he has his limitations as well as his strengths.
Just as I gave my daughter the opportunity, he also had the opportunity to register in the registry of universities or what is in Venezuela the Opsu, where 5 university careers must be registered, so we did, being the first option: Automotive Mechanics which is his great dream of always and others, all in the same city, because outside it could not leave him, one for his condition and another for the critical economic situation we live in, if studying in the city is expensive, more it is outside.
Recently the list of universities came out, I searched with him and after several attempts he opened the page, for my greatest joy, was that he was assigned, not in what he wanted, but he was assigned to something, that even if he is not going to comply, because they are very focused in their decisions, because he wants is mechanical.
But as I said he has a condition, but he also has a mission and a vision, which is to learn mechanics and be a mechanic.
He also asked me for some time to rest from his studies because for those who are normal people for them is strong, because they have a high degree of responsibility more than the others, that if those did not deliver their work or made their defenses as they did not care much, but he did and more than that he got his grade, so he would be satisfied that he fulfilled.
And I also need that rest, because I always assisted him, I supported him in all his studies from elementary school to high school, which for me was very satisfying, not because I have his condition, but it was my duty as a mother to be aware of his educational process, because this process is not only of the institution and teachers, it is of the parents in their homes, because the home is the first school. I could see that many of his classmates did not have the support of their parents.
But the sun is beginning to rise, for him, for me and for all those people who have really supported him and are attentive to his progress, I spoke with a neighbor who has a workshop, I told him about his desire to learn mechanics, but I also told him about his condition, which he accepted and told me that he will instruct and train him in the mechanics trade, but without ceasing to seek an institution that offers courses on mechanics.
And do not be surprised if I also learn mechanics ha ha ha ha.
To finish a reflection: "Children are more than one, while they are, we live under the same roof, although they will always be outside it, but while they are, we can support them more, that there are no preferences between children, give them the same love and dedication whether or not they have conditions".
