The dragon boats/ Dračí lodě

Hello everyone
Dragon boat races were held in our town today. This time the races were held on Lake Vrbicka. After all, these races were also held on the Odra river last time.
Dnes ve v našem městě konaly závody dračích lodí. Tentokráte se závody konaly na Vrbickém jezeře. Ono totiž se taky tyto závody minule konaly na řece Odře.
The races were held in several categories and actually took place over the entire weekend. Employees of various companies, members of associations or simply a group of acquaintances took part. There were also some semi-professional teams.
Závody se konaly v několika kategoriích a konaly se vlastně celý víkend. Zůčastnily se zaměstnanci různých podniků, členové spolků nebo se prostě domluvila skupina známých. Sešly se i nějaké poloprofesionální týmy.
Although it was a race, there was a friendly atmosphere all around. The world is small and that's how many, even competing, competitors knew each other.
Ačkoliv se jednalo o závody, panovala všude kolem přátelská atmosféra. Svět je malý a tak se mnozí byť konkurenční závodníci znali.
Overall it was fine. The organizers managed this event. There was support and supervision of volunteer firefighters, or music and commentary of ongoing races. There was also some refreshments... Just relaxing.
Celkově bylo fajn. Pořadatelé tuto akci zvládli. Nechyběla podpora a dohled dobrovolných hasičů, nebo hudba a komentář probíhajících závodů. Taky tu bylo nějaké to občerstvení.... Prostě pohoda.
Hádej, odkud jsem před čtvrthodinou přišel. Ze závodů dračích lodí 😄😄
Neříkej že z Bohumína?
Z Přerova. A fotky dám zítra, ať tu není předrakováno 😛

A závodil jsi taky?
Jednou jsem to zkusil . Ale nijak jsme se neumistnili. Spíš jsem to kazil. Ale byla to sranda.
Teď jsme se šli jen podívat.
Manželka říkala, že to možná příští rok zkusí s týmem z práce
