Turkey is safe

Hey there!!

As I am relaxing in Istanbul airport lounge I'd like to say a few words about safety and my trip.

Safety was my biggest concern in this journey. No wonder... And afterwards, all my fears vanished quite quickly. Istanbul is not crowded like usual, but the plane was full. Why do I say it's safe?

First of all, statistics. The number of daily deseases in Turkey is about 1600 - 1700, in Ukraine 5000 - 6000. Impressive comparance.

People here wear masks everywhere. Moreover, they do it not formally, but watch each other and make remarks, they do care. Moreover, they change masks. This is what I saw.

Sanitizers and temperature screening are everywhere, on every corner.

Disposal houseware and packaging.

I fly with Turkish Aiine, and they give a free mask for passengers on boarding. The anti-corona measures in new Istanbul airlort are really impressive.

I took off my mask just for selfie. I wore a face mask during all my movings even in the hotel.

The conclusion is obvious, and recipe is amazingly simple. Noone gonna save us if we don't care ourselves.

Thank you, dear Johann. And it is so sad to see how the situation is getting worse in Ukraine. Public places and transport are crowded and sometimes no one in mask! In the same time they all are against severe restrictions. This is absurd

I understand, and at the moment it is getting worse here too. From Friday on we will have more restrictions and I believe that we are not far away from the next lockdown.
People are stupid everywhere, many just don't care and these are the ones who spread the virus. I am really curious how long this all will last and ow bad it is going to be in the end.
