Umm for a long time I used to be so focused on what others think so much that I forgot to ask myself what do I really want. Whenever someone stated something was good, I would accept that as a good idea. Even when I had a different opinion, I would often times stay quite. Thinking back, I can't really tell myself what were the reasons why I considered other people's ideas as something I need to follow or respect, hehe

It took me a while to realize that I used to do so many things just to fit in with other people. Some were things I didn't really like but I kept doing them just so people will be able to see me as one of them. So as a result, I forgot myself in a way that I forgot what I like to do.

Now I look back and think girl what were you even doing? 😂 how I was so worried about making others happy but I wasn't even sure if what I did was something I wanted to do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its bad that I did those things. I'm just amused that I was so worried about other people's opinions that I overlooked my own

Its different now. I do things that I like more and I started to rely on my own decisions more. I still listen to other people and most of the time their advice are good but it doesn't mean I have to like everything they tell me. Oh well, apparently I do have my own brain and I've been using it wisely hehe

I only wish that I realized those things earlier but I guess this is how life is. Sometimes we cannot choose the timing of the things that make us realize who we are and how we should live. That is why we need to grow older until we get to that point in life where we learn to make our own decisions.

I would like to thank those people who made me realize that it's not all about them. I still have a long way to go but I will definitely make my own mistakes and in the end, it's a good thing that I did. At least now, when I make a decision, I can say that it was my decision and I made it myself.
