What is Shiba Inu?

Let's start with the basics, and that is to understand what is Shiba Inu, I tell you that it is an exciting and dynamic cryptocurrency, as well as volatile, that can not be denied, but strongly has shown that even a coin that started as a meme can have a significant impact on the world of cryptocurrencies, and really this interesting imagine what the future holds for Shiba Inu.

Its name comes from the Japanese dog breed Shiba Inu, and it is from there that the design of the coin was inspired, which is that adorable dog that made a lot of money to those who bought in a good time.

How did I get to be in this position?

Well, it didn't happen overnight. Shiba Inu has been gaining popularity and value at a steady pace. People have been attracted to its accessibility and the fact that you can own millions or even billions of them for a small amount of money, as the current value at the time of this writing is $0.00000810, so $1 can buy 123,456 Shiba.

But its value was not always this, because on the date of 10/28/2021 it reached its peak with a value of $0.00008616, which indicates that if you had bought at least 1$ when its sale value was around $0.0000013, then when selling it at its peak you would have earned a total of $65 just in profits, that's really crazy.

I had the opportunity to buy, but I was a little scared to make an investment, although seeing today this example that I am giving, if I had risked at least 10$, I would have made a good profit, maybe even my voting power here in hive would be higher hahaha, but I did not dare and I preferred to see its increase from the bench, sitting without taking action, which today I regret.

What makes Shiba Inu to be in the #19 position right now is the Market Capitalization, as it currently has a market cap of $4,769,683,513, while Bitcoin Cash has a Market Cap of $4,579,388,428.

The difference is not really big enough for Shiba to stay in that position for a long time, but it is there, and that is already admirable.

You will probably say that this is not important enough to dedicate a whole article to it, but we can't deny that this is a great achievement for Shiba Inu. Bitcoin Cash has been one of the top cryptocurrencies for a long time. The fact that a coin that started as a meme has outperformed Bitcoin Cash is a testament to the power and influence of retail investors in the cryptocurrency market, as that's what drove the Market Cap up.

What's next for Shiba Inu?

It is hard to say for sure. The world of cryptocurrencies is very volatile and things can change quickly, many things can influence the value of the market, things like wars that are going on right now between other countries, but nevertheless, this is definitely an important milestone for Shiba Inu and it will be interesting to see how it develops in the future.

I passed up the opportunity, but they always say that the train doesn't run only once in a lifetime, so I might have the chance to buy a ticket and get on the train that runs through Shiba, but it might all end up being a glitchy ride, nothing is predictable, but I plan to buy some Shiba tokens, no more than 1$ hahahaha just to experience what might happen in the future.
