Es una película muy conmovedora que de verdad me hizo reflexionar mucho , espero que te guste , ponte cómodo que asi inicia ( I AM SAM )

It is a very touching movie that really made me reflect a lot , I hope you like it , get comfortable that as starts ( I AM SAM )

Una película que de verdad recomiendo por lo conmovedora, la verdad no soy de este género de películas, pero está en especial me ha gustado mucho donde muestran el amor de un padre a su hija

Released in 2002 (the year I was born) this movie is in the Drama category.

A film that I really recommend for its poignancy, the truth is that I am not a fan of this genre of films, but I really liked this one where they show the love of a father to his daughter.

Esta es una película conmovedora la cual aborda el tema de la paternidad y las barreras sociales (Lo cual es un tema de mucho interés últimamente).

El actor Sean Penn interpreta el papel de Sam, este es un hombre con discapacidad intelectual que lucha por mantener la custodia de su hija luego de que la madre de la niña los abandonara por completo. No quiero hacer spoilers, pero esto es muy impórtate para que comprendas por qué la niña está sola y tiene solamente el apoyo de su padre Sam

La hija de Sam es interpretada por Dakota Fanning y de igual forma dio una muy buena actuación y la química entre ambos es increíble.

This is a poignant film which tackles the issue of fatherhood and social barriers (which is a topic of much interest lately).

Actor Sean Penn plays the role of Sam, a man with an intellectual disability who fights to keep custody of his daughter after the girl's mother completely abandons them. I don't want to do spoilers, but this is very important for you to understand why the girl is alone and has only the support of her father Sam.

Sam's daughter is played by Dakota Fanning and she gave a very good performance and the chemistry between the two is amazing.

Esta bajo la dirección de Jessie Nelson, y un tema curioso es que como banda sonora estan los Beatles el cual le añade un toque nostálgico y perfecto a todo este ambiente.

La fotografía y el diseño de producción son sencillos, eso quiere decir que no encontraras efectos especiales ni nada por el estilo, y es lo mas común en este tipo de películas con su temática, pero eso no le quita lo eficaz que es su historia al momento de que el espectador la pueda analizar.

Si eres una persona la cual es amante de los buenos diálogos emotivos, te digo que esta película es para ti, los diálogos son emotivos y atractivos.

It is under the direction of Jessie Nelson, and a curious theme is that as a soundtrack is the Beatles which adds a nostalgic and perfect touch to the whole atmosphere.

The photography and production design are simple, that means that you will not find special effects or anything like that, and it is the most common in this type of films with its theme, but that does not take away the effectiveness of its story at the time that the viewer can analyze it.

If you are a person who loves good emotional dialogues, I say that this movie is for you, the dialogues are emotional and attractive.

"I Am Sam" es una película que de verdad te llega al corazón y te deja reflexionando sobre el amor y la paternidad.

¿Recuerdan que al inicio de este post les hable sobre las barreras sociales ?

Y es que en esta película las personas no creen que Sam sea un padre responsable debido a su condición de discapacidad intelectual, pero Sam hace de todo para demostrarles que él puede ser un padre responsable y mantener la custodia de su hija

Sam se ha encariñado mucho con su hija Lucy y por nada del mundo aceptaría que le quiten el amor de su vida

Las personas dicen que como es posible que Sam pueda dar un buen sustento económico a su niña, y por tal motivo Sam esta en busca de mejores trabajos para poder darle a Lucy lo que ella necesite

"I Am Sam" is a movie that really touches your heart and leaves you reflecting on love and parenthood.

Remember at the beginning of this post I talked about social barriers ?

In this movie, people don't believe that Sam is a responsible father because of his intellectual disability, but Sam does everything he can to show them that he can be a responsible father and keep custody of his daughter.

Sam has become very attached to his daughter Lucy and he wouldn't take the love of his life away from her for anything in the world.

People say that how is it possible for Sam to provide a good economic support for his daughter, and for that reason Sam is looking for better jobs so he can give Lucy what she needs.
