Rotundamente NO.

Greetings to the @LadiesOfHive community And thanks to @mllg for the invite.
It is a very sad subject to approach but it exists.

My invitation to participate is for @lilianajimenez and @sacra97 and the link is here

It is about answering these 2 questions.
After reading this article.

"On September 13, 2022, an Iranian woman (Mahsa Amini) was arrested for wearing her headscarf too loosely, allowing a bit of her hair to show. Witnesses claim that she was severely beaten while in police custody. At one point, she collapsed, but it was two hours before police transported her to a hospital, where she was found to have slipped into a coma. Police claim she suffered a heart attack, but had bruises on her body, head and face. He died three days later, without waking up from the coma. And this was all because of an oversight in letting some locks of hair show. "

The questions are:

1) What do you think of news of this type?

I think it is a normalization of crime. A society where there are no human rights and no respect for life. They are people who have their own laws, and these in some aspects collide with life. Ordinary people have adapted to live in fear, and although they internally reject these acts, they fear that the same thing will happen to them.
They do not have any institution where they can denounce, because those institutions are the ones that promote this conduct. And the authorities have permission for these abuses. And in the same families, this tradition is established.

Women from the age of 12 cannot be seen by any man, other than their father or brothers, without their hair covered. Inside their house they can be without the veil, but if a visitor arrives, run and hide.

And even the other women censor and denounce, which does not obey.

The hair is the veil that the scriptures speak of, I read on one occasion. That of covering oneself with a rag, are creations of those who want us enslaved. The female sex has intuition and the sixth sense, very well developed that the male sex does not have to the same extent. From there it could be that this domination towards the female sex derives.

The female sex is not weak, but knowing that those of the male sex have mistreated the female sex, by force, because the male sex has the physical strength that the female does not possess by nature. So, he is manipulated from birth and belief becomes experience. A girl who is developing in that environment is what will repeat and fear will prevent her from rebelling.

Do you think you could live in such a conservative society?

Absolutely NO. Respect for everything and everyone is important. The right to life is not negotiable.

Would you even consider briefly visiting a country with such laws?

There are countries where they have such laws, but they don't enforce it on visitors. Still, I prefer to visit other places.

Years ago, when people from those countries came here, I saw several women in black suits and only their eyes could be seen. And no, I didn't like seeing them at all. I was rather scared. There was a man who was paying for his purchase, he was with two women, one was behind with 2 children, and the other with her two children further back.

When they were loading the groceries into the truck, they waited for him to get in, then one of the women, the children, and then the other woman and the children. If here, I saw these women sporadically and I didn't like it, imagine being in a country where that is the common behavior, no no.

How can we help those women, who cannot afford to flee to safety?

No idea. The chase would be where they go. It is not easy, here in Venezuela, there were people of Syrian nationality, and although they did not wear a veil, they sold their daughters. They only studied up to high school and since they were girls they had already chosen her husband. They had to marry someone of the same nationality and religion. Some men who were more than 20 years older. I heard of a case of a girl who ran away with her Venezuelan boyfriend and her father and brother were looking for her to break up with her, because that was a very big offense and she had to pay for it and her mother also agreed. As far as I know they didn't get it.

2) Some of the LadiesOfHive members actually live in countries with similar laws. Are you one of them? If so, how do you cope with the constant hatred and suppression of women? Or do you like to have strict rules to follow?

No, thank God no, what I know about those religious customs I learned from the neighbors of Syrian nationality. The boys were able to make their own decisions but their sisters and cousins were not. And living here in Venezuela, they bring their behavior. No need to travel there to see such nonsense. I don't like to follow those anarchic and unfair rules, which go against life.

Do you think your country's view of women could be improved, and how?

Here we must improve the vision towards all living beings. Children are the most mistreated, people with some special condition, too, and awareness is what is most needed.

Would you run away to a safe place, if you could?

Of course. We have the obligation to be free, which is how God created us. Domination and slavery are not of God. When we see authoritarian behaviors outside, that is showing us our own behavior and if that bothers us?

Worse, it is what we have to modify in ourselves and we do not realize it.

That picture is mine.

So far my participation.

My kind regards

People create laws for others to live in fear. Hypocrisy tends to prevail amongst people living in such countries am not sure a friend of hers could even do such to her and would have informed her of her loosed hair strand. It would have saved a life but hyprocisy and stuff allowed her enemies prevailed. Women have to rise to the top of thier voices. It's actually sad a life was lost in the process.
Thanks for sharing.
