🎶🎵🎶Navidad, navidad, linda navidad!! 🎶🎶

🎶🎵🎶Christmas, Christmas, nice Christmas!!! 🎶🎶

How many of us have sung this aguinaldo and get excited for the end of the year festivities? Actually since October starts and sometimes since before, we start thinking how our end of the year will be, we think about the children's toys, the party, the food, etc.

However there are other people who think the opposite of us. They hate Christmas so much that we call them a "Grinch", because we equate them to that character starring Jim Carrey, who did not like the celebration of Christmas and took it upon himself to steal the ornaments and gifts that represented Christmas for him.

But why are there people like that? Have you thought about it?

I am not a therapist however, for years I worked with special children with attention deficit, learning disabilities, Asperger's syndrome, etc. This allowed me to be closer to the families and their life dynamics, to whom I gave guidance for daily life with their children and in that process I was educated and informed, learning about what happens in the individual when there are difficult situations at home.

Sometimes when these daily dynamics were changed, it allowed a positive transformation in the children.

I learned that the family is the center of containment of every human being, where he/she must receive love, care and training. To have a home to shelter from cold, hunger and street danger.

How much we need a responsible mother and father.

Fuente

But, it happens that sometimes the father is only for himself, he is not a responsible man at home, he acts selfishly and is not able to give attention, love and care to his son or daughter. And in multiple occasions it happens that the father is not even there, he left abandoning the family.

Fuente

On the other hand, there is the mother, who also has emotional deficiencies and cannot give what she does not have. In addition, if she is alone because her partner left her, she also does not have the time to devote to her child. And there are also cases where the mother is not present either, because she left the nest.

With this cocktail of situations, a human being grows up lacking the love, care and containment necessary to make him/her emotionally strong and capable of facing all the situations he/she may live in the future, besides being unhappy to enjoy dates like Christmas, where joy, love, hugs, kisses, company, being with family, sharing, etc. are celebrated. This leads them to be sullen, bitter and despise these moments.

Fuente

So, if you have children, first of all be clear and understand that the child belongs to both of you and, therefore, both of you are responsible for everything the child experiences.

Check what you are giving them beyond food and bed.

Is there love in your family? Is there communication? Do you share with your children simple things like a comic book, or a board game? Do you invent stories to encourage creativity? And so many other things. Or do you get annoyed and think that the cell phone is better company than you? Are you teaching them for life? Because it is not only teaching them to read or to speak, but your example is fundamental for the child to learn.

Your example is the path he or she will follow later on. What is the father and mother, that will be the child.

Fuente

It is important to give the children the necessary tools for their future life. And that must be given to them now that they are children.

I remember clearly when a gentleman, a friend of my dad's, described what a child is:

A child is a blank sheet of paper, and only you write what you want on it. Your actions imprint that sheet in a particular way.

Now, what are you imprinting on your children.
Are you creating more "Grinch" for this future world?

Fuente

I hope that this year end we think about what we have done during this year and reflect on the good and less good. May we make changes to transform our life and those around us, the people we care about, our family.

This is how far the river has brought us 🤗🌹 thankful that you have reached these lines and even more thankful for the support to my content. 🙏🏻♨️
