Rebellion Pack, Gladius Cases, Bigger Dreams: My Splinterlands Journey

Happy Saturday, Splinterlands fam! This is @zusi78.

In Splinterlands, growth is everything. Winning matters, of course, but the real game is about building, upgrading, and staying ready for the long run. That is why I decided to get myself a Rebellion pack and also plan to grab some Gladius cases as time goes on. For me, this is all part of the bigger journey — strengthening my deck, improving my chances, and leveling up step by step.

One thing I have learned in this game is that patience pays. You cannot rush greatness. Every card upgrade, every pack, and every smart move brings you closer to a stronger setup. So instead of just thinking about the next battle, I am thinking long term — building a deck that can stand strong across battles, leagues, and changing challenges.

The Rebellion pack is a solid move for the future, and the Gladius cases are definitely on the list too. Gladiator cards bring that extra firepower(important in brawl fights, wild and allowed in the "are you not entertained" ruleset), and you know in Splinterlands, every advantage counts. That is why I am not just buying cards — I am investing in my journey, one upgrade at a time.

This is the beauty of Splinterlands: it rewards strategy, consistency, and patience. It rewards those who keep showing up, keep improving, and keep building. And that is exactly what I am doing. So yes — Rebellion today, Gladius next, and bigger things ahead.

OPENING MY REBELLION PACK.I got one pack for 7,048.125 DEC.

I am so glad with my rebellion card unveiling,4 units and an Archon.

This is Ulundin Overseer, from the ulund bloodline. This unit is a neutral element and it's going to be very useful as a tank with it stats and abilities as it scales up.I was able to buy two units already, and would start upgrading it gradually.

This is Silverbade Fighter a life element,at higher level it gains the void armor ability, making it situable for tank position as well, magic monsters have to go through its armor first before its health, when the void armor ability is unlocked.
This is Sskah Drudge,a death unit with the true strike ability.

At max level, Torch Vizier is a fire splinter damage dealer, with a melee attack of +5 and amazing speed to compliment it.Its opportunity ability is useful when it comes to dealing with opponent's monsters with low health.

For me, this is the highest of them all! Nomos,a fire Archon that grants -2 magic to two opponent enemies with magic attack or the option of granting two allied units with the dispel ability after a successful strike.Once again it was a worthwhile opening!

GLADIUS CASES
I checked the Guild Store and found I had accumulated 6,954 merits, which would get me three Gladius cases. I decided to top it up to over 8k merits so I could buy four instead.

After topping, I was able to buy four gladius cases for 8,000 merits at 2,000 merits per one

Opening The Four Gladius Cases.

The four gladius cases contains twenty (20) gladiator cards. I got a total of one Epic, five Rare and rest fourteen are Common. Below is a list of the gladiators I have accumulated and upgraded so far.
A big shout-out to @nozem01 for welcoming me into his Guild(NFG Club-Legion II), where I have been able to accumulate merits and receive shared staked SPS after each brawl fight. In turn, I have used those merits to buy Gladius cases and upgrade my pool of gladiators 👇.

The journey continues, and the grind never stops. Let’s keep building, let’s keep growing, and let’s keep dominating together, fam!
