Often, I've yearned for superpowers—the ability to accomplish remarkable feats. Sci-fi films showcase characters with extraordinary abilities, demonstrating the incredible impact these powers can have. While some might misuse these powers for evil, more often, they're harnessed for noble purposes.

I yearn for a range of superpowers, such as the ability to sense danger and rescue people, or the power to travel to the future for informed decision-making. Having superpowers like recognizing imminent danger and rescuing people, along with the ability to travel to the future for foresight, would be a compelling combination. These powers could significantly influence my decisions in the present for the greater good.

While I desire various superpowers, one I'd rather not possess is the ability to read minds. The thought of deciphering everyone's thoughts in a crowded place seems overwhelming. Perhaps, if feasible, I could learn to selectively tune into specific minds when needed.

My younger sister recently became ill, expressing difficulties breathing and chest discomfort. Despite visiting multiple hospitals and undergoing various tests, doctors repeatedly assured her that everything was fine. However, earlier this week, an emergency call informed us she had been rushed to the hospital. After more tests, the doctors remained unable to pinpoint any specific issue. This situation left me emotionally distraught.

It's perplexing when someone experiences intense pain without a clear diagnosis. I suggested to her the option of returning to Nigeria, where traditional remedies are widely available for various ailments. However, she is determined to stay in Canada and persist with medical consultations. Our video call revealed the extent of her pain, making even standing or walking a formidable challenge. Witnessing her struggle deeply affected me, leading to the shedding of lots of tears.

At that moment, I yearned for two superpowers: teleportation and healing. Teleportation would allow me to be instantly in Canada, and with the power to heal, I could alleviate my sister's pain and address the underlying ailment causing her suffering.

The power of healing holds significant potential for creating a more beautiful world. Terminal illnesses often lead to financial strain, contributing to poverty. The heartbreaking reality is that substantial financial investments may not guarantee a positive outcome. Many individuals remain bedridden in hospitals for extended periods without hope, while others lack the means to provide proper medical care for their sick relatives.

Indeed, envisioning the superpower of healing paints a world where sickness becomes obsolete. Illness is a prominent contributor to mortality rates, and a world without it would lead to a significant reduction in deaths. This, in turn, ensures longer lifespans for loved ones and family members. A society free from sickness fosters optimal productivity, contributing to economic growth on a global scale. The transformative impact of healing superpowers extends beyond personal well-being to shape a healthier and more prosperous world.

Having the superpower of healing, I wouldn't keep it a secret. I'd use it wisely, going out into the streets to heal people without seeking financial gain. The prayers and blessings from those I help would be the true rewards for me. Envisioning a world without sickness, I see it as an ideal and perfect place.
