Deadpool 2(2018) Review
I’ve seen a bunch of funny movies and Deadpool 2 is undoubtedly the funniest of the lot. It literally seems like Ryan Reynolds was given the freedom to do anything he wants with the script.
The movie continued the adventure of Marvel Universe’s Anti-hero, Deadpool. It focuses on his road to retribution after the death of his wife and how he fixed the life of a young teenager who was on course to becoming the Unibomber, a villain in Marvel’s Universe.
The movie also involved a future soldier called cage, who jumped back in time to kill the young teenager. According to the movie, Cable, came back home, somewhere in the future to find that his wife and daughter had been murdered by the Unibomber. To fix the problem, he chose to jump back in time to kill the young teenager, played by Julian Dennison, living in an institution where young mutants are abused and experimented on.
Never in my life have I watched that the main character criticized the movie during the movie but that was the case with this one.
According to Deadpool, it is a family movie but it is anything but that. The movie has lots of violent scenes and strong language. The fight sequences, stunts and CGI were top notch as well. It is easily the best action movie made in the year 2018 and it is no surprise it sold out really fast.
The only downside to the movie is the total and I mean, absolute level of unseriousness through it all. Deadpool killed himself(Ryan Reynolds) while using the time machine during the post credit scene and made jokes about DC universe. If you’re not familiar with the character and Mrvel as a whole, you will probably find yourself offended and even disgusted by lots of events in the movie.
Overall, it is a great hilarious Action/SciFi/Family movie, and you will learn that Family is not an F-word, according to the narrator and main character.
