Synopsis:

It's a movie that tells the story of how a common man with a painful life, he becomes the famous Joker and enemy of Batman. Arthur Fleck is a man adult, who lives in an apartment with his mother, which he cares for because he is sick. Arthur suffers from mental illness, leading him to have to attend therapies and to take 7 different medications to control your dementia. One of the individuals Arthur's illness is that he laughs out of control and out loud, at inappropriate times; although this disease looks something common when you work as a clown. Arthur was wearing a life somewhat broken, and to make matters worse while working on the street, some boys attack, beat and steal; this fact shakes the anger in him and at the same time he does think "how much madness and evil there is outside". The incident reaches the ears of a fellow work, which with all the bad intention gives him a weapon and several ammunition. Arthur
He is surprised, but still accepts it because his "friend" says he does it because He appreciates it and wants it protected. After having the weapon, Arthur begins to have inconveniences, in one of the visits he made to the children's hospital, in the middle of a dance the weapon falls to the ground and this reaches the ears of his boss, who dismisses him from the company "Haha".

In addition to this, the state cannot continue to pay for social services, then the sessions are withdrawn and therefore the medical treatment that Arthur receives. Later, when Arthur returns from the former job on the train; runs into three types that they annoy a girl, this scared one leaves the car and the types remain; who start a mockery against Arthur, taking the latter the gun and killing them. That criminal act is spread throughout every Gothic city, "a righteous clown." Thomas Wayne offers statements about it and they are not pleasing to Arthur and neither to People who feel alluded to due to heavy comments. Thus formed a protest movement against the political candidate, Thomas Wayne. This movement of protest, definitely disturbs the tranquility and safety of the inhabitants of Gothic, in addition to sowing crime under a clown mask. Meanwhile, Arthur he discovers that Penny Fleck writes letters to Thomas Wayne, arguing that he needs help and that this is Arthur's father. This fact adds more imbalance to the behavior of Arthur, who goes to Thomas's house and talks to Bruce, the real son of the politician. Not being able to see Thomas, Arthur decides to address him in an event he will have, meeting both in bathroom; Thomas denies being Arthur's father and claims that this idea is only a product of hallucinations of Penny Fleck, also argued that this is not Arthur's mother.

Open this intrigue, Arthur decides to investigate Penny and goes to a Center of seclusion to which it was sent, where you can confirm that it is adopted and also by mental imbalances of the mother, Arthur was abused in various ways by a boyfriend temporary. It is not for less, that this adds more anger to Arthur's life. Who goes to where it is Find Penny and the killer. Then, he goes home and prepares to attend a program to whom he had been invited that night. The animator of this program was the one who mocked Joker called him. While preparing, two former co-workers arrived, one of them who had handed the gun to Arthur, subject who ends up murdered and the another, comes out quietly because he was always a good friend. Arthur is finished prepare and go on the way to the program, where he is chased by police officers, but he manages to get on a train where he unleashes a fight; ending the escape and with a person Dead due to violence. Arrive at the site where the program is recorded and ask the host to present him as the "Joker"; then in the transmission of it, Arthur he ends up confessing that he is the one who murdered the train's subjects and subsequently murders
also to the host of the program. Meanwhile, chaos has unleashed in the Gothic city, taking advantage of one of the Protestants with clown mask, the opportunity to kill in a dark alley to Thomas Wayne and his wife, in front of Bruce's eyes (future Batman). Then, Arthur or now known as the Joker, is caught and held in a center psychiatric.

My opinion:

It's a good movie that actually demonstrates the failures in social systems and politicians, and as an individual of mental instability decides or looks at the situation of Do not react properly. Arthur's performance is very good; has a talent
amazing to get into the character and his madness. I consider your inappropriate Laughter should have taken hours of practice to take it to the one we appreciate in the film. In addition to this, the way in which this story unfolds and in how all the threads are united, I love it; Everything fits with the "later" films of which he would eventually become the enemy of the Joker (Batman). Except, that part of the murder of Bruce's parents, who in old movies was a guy dressed in common clothes (not dressed as a clown); and it had been a robbery and not like in this film, which demonstrates the murder more as an opposition to the political channels carried by Thomas Wayne.
