Mama (2013). A love from a mother from beyond.
Horror movies always have an important space in our entertainment ... Yesterday afternoon, I saw one of these again, whose name is "Mom." And quickly remembering Triple AAA, I started typing today.
A bit of history:
One unfortunate day a man decides to kill the wife, in view and presence of the daughters, who then takes them kidnapped to the cabin and plans to kill them. The girls Victoria and Lilly, at that time are protected by a spirit.
And they are totally scared, and coupled with it in a forest. Being here, the spirit of a mother (nothing good) welcomes them as their own and the three live in a cabin. The spirit protects them and keeps them isolated from everyone. While this happens, the maternal uncle of the girls looks for them during a period of 5 years and does not find them.
After those years, he manages to achieve them and is not able to understand how two little girls in a solitary forest managed to survive. However, he takes them home where he and the girlfriend will take care of and watch over the well-being of the girls. But, these little infants showed a very strange behavior and in addition to the fact, they spoke "alone" with someone else whom they called "Mom" .... In view of these behaviors, the uncle and now the new mother of the girls opt for taking him to psychological therapy, assuming that all those behavioral behaviors out of the ordinary were only a product of so many years of isolation and because of the trauma of seeing the mother die at the hands of their father.
But, the sad thing about this fact is that what happened to girls, could not be remedied with psychological therapy. This, was marred by a dark spirit that felt the mother of the little ones, and seeing this as the emotional space was invaded by the uncle and the new mother, begins to manifest itself in a very negative way. Within the fury of the spirit, manages to hurt the couple on several occasions, and so the film takes place. Alert of a mega Spoilers:
In the despair and annoyance of the spirit, he abducts the girls and takes them to the cabin, where there was a cliff there. He takes them to the dangerous place, prompting them both to launch with her in this and they would always be together, but at that crucial moment the couple arrives and manages to convince the older girl to come with them and get away from "Mom." Unfortunately, the youngest girl chooses to keep the spirit and ends up jumping with him to the cliff, dying.
My opinion:
The cast and the setting of filming, I find very suitable for the theme of the film. Although these girls are amazing, at such a young age they play the corresponding role very well. "Mama" has a good plot that keeps you attentive and sometimes full of suspense. Wow! the end if I really did not expect it, it did not pass through my mind that the youngest girl would throw herself with the spirit into the cliff. It is a creepy story, which protects the love of a sick mother. Great story.
