30 day ‘referee’ downvote report / @actifit
For the past month or so, 5 referees have been downvoting content they feel is unsuitable for the #sportstalk tag. A recent @sportstalksocial post detailed potential reasons for a downvote being placed:
- Lacking Sports Focus
- Plagiarism
- Fair use policy
- Harassment
- Hate Speech
- Farming
- NSFW
- Impersonation
The post linked above fleshes out these bullets and so take a look if you wish to know more. So, have these 'referee' accounts be working hard over the past 30 days? Let's have a look:

Well, a couple of them have.
Where's referee 3?
The system is being changed, but previously I think 3 referees were required to downvote the same piece of content for the pending rewards to be removed - So were rewards removed from a maximum of 211 pieces of content? This doesn't sound like much to me.
I'm hoping the new system, with more referees available will mean more eyes and more blatant abuse losing those pending rewards.

I agree with you as I only know of one account going into the penalty box. More refs should make a difference hopefully.
Yeah I hope this is the case and there is more teamwork involved to curb abusive accounts.

Referee 2 needs to get their act together as well. Letting down the side with 6 dv's. Good to see a plan in place though for moving the tribe forward.
Looks that way - I'll do another soon enough to see if anything has changed :)
