Actifit: August 2nd (Running after the rain)
Today was a home office day and at first a perfect one in terms if weather. It was raining all morning and the air cooled down wonderfully after that record hot July.
But when the rain ceased I couldn't resist to take an early lunch break and go running for half an hour.
It's been ages since my last run and I found my usual route blocked by a construction site. So I went exploring new paths and found a some nice new spots like this mysterious trunk. Looks like it came straight out of a fantasy movie.
What I found shocking was that despite all that rain the earth was dry and the river in the woods didn't have any water left in it. The only water I found was a small puddle filled with rain water.
I really enjoyed the run through the chilly air. Should do that more often.
