My Actifit Report Card: September 21 2019 + the lab results from Rowan
A day around the house, consciously enjoy the sun as long as possible, chores that must be done before the cold ... And enjoy the dogs, of all three of course ... but especially Rowan. Because although he has recovered extremely well from the operation, we are not there yet. The sword of Damocles is still hanging above him.
Today the vet came for a final check-up of the wound, to feel a lymph node at his left hind leg, and with the result of the cytological examination.
The result is partly favorable and partly unfavorable ... unfavorable because it concerns a carcinoma that has been removed. And it was a huge carcinoma, which increases the chance at metastases. And in his favor ...no metastases can be seen or felt now ... And the edges of the cut tissue were clean.
Coming down now that Rowan literally lives in bonus time, if he endures the next six months without complaints, he has every chance again. The survival time of these types of tumors is half a year.
So ... fingers crossed again for my boy. Anyway, without surgery he would not have been there by now. Now we have to wait and see, which means to me ... enjoying and with him more and more consciously. And make as many memories as possible together.
