Happy 33rd Anniversary Akwa Ibom

Today 23rd September 2020, marks the 33rd Anniversary of Akwa Ibom State. The State is blessed to be the highest oil and gas producing state in the country with abundance of natural and agricultural resources. The Anniversary is being celebrated annually since the creation of the state in 1987.

Due to the pandemic, the usual massive celebration will not hold this year but the presentation of the flag, the emblem, the coat of arm and the anthem of the state will take place in the state banquet hall at the Governor's house but attendance will be strictly by invitation.
