Amazingnaturecontest #Star and fasting

**Limit exists only in our mind.**

Hello friends!

Hope you all are in good health and enjoying yourself. if not go out for a walk , with the touch of nature you feel better.

So, here is my entry for #amazingnature contest helded by @adalger. I know I'm late nd today is last day for participate.

entire month I keep fasting(one meal a day for 31 days) and feel myself much connected with the amazingnature. If u wonder with the connection of fasting and nature, wait let me Explain:-)

This is the month of kartik (according to hindu calendar) . Kartik month usually occurs in the October and November month as the English calendar.

According to hindu calendar every month has their unique significance, but kartik month is believed to be auspicious due to the visit of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva on Earth. This month holds special significance, a blessing for being to learn ,grow, cherish and experience bliss.

The entire month is dedicated to religious activities. Many rituals performed during this month, which are : taking Holly bath, worshipping god, visit to temple, fasting , Charity, japa(chanting), worship with Tulsi (basil) leaves and so on.

First My mom asked me to perform these rituals and I denied because I thought performing these rituals are not my cup of tea specially fasting:,-)

But when my mom asked second time I agreed only because she want. But genuinely I feel that was my one of the best decision because I got joyous result which I want to share here and wanna explain how I feel much connected with nature which is the main concern of this post:-)

Every morning I walk up early, take bath nd go to temple. Benefit of this activity are : start to walk up early , start morning walk and in the way I always enjoy fresh air, tree alongside the road , birds voice and most amazing view of sunrise. (Even I have no picture related this because I never used phone while go to temple)

Every morning become so positive ,and best way to start the day.

After that We've to chant some mantra which are like meditation, TBH I feel more relaxed and focused after chanting these mantra.

After that we performed worship of basil (Tulsi) leaves. watering the plants and spend some time there. Also with some more trees Nd fasting the entire day and took meal after see the star.

In the evening egarly waiting for star and while waiting for star first enjoy the beautiful sunset view( which I usually enjoy but this month didn't miss a single view:-)

Everyday weather was different sometimes we've to wait long due to overcast sky. Wanna share some shots :

That day sky was overcast and we've to wait 2 hour for star. While waiting for star we enjoy the hide &seek with moon and clouds. First I enjoyed a lot but honestly at last got frustrated due to hunger:,-)

I know it's a random shot and nothing is clear but believe me we saw star while weather was not fine.

This is basil plant and yesterday we perform very auspicious ritual of Tulsi vivah (bsail plant marriage ceremony)

I want to discuss more about basil plant Martin ceremony and a very special geet (song) and also the benefits of fasting but here at our city internet connection is banned for some time(somehow manage to post it with WiFi connection) and today is the last day to submit the post for this contest. So I've to sum up it hereπŸ˜…

I just tried to show the connection between nature and rituals ,which are beneficial for us for spirituality, mentally and physically. I really feel so connected with nature specially sky and learn a valuable lesson that limit exists only in our mind because before that I had a believe that fasting is not for me but this whole month I successfully do it:-)

Hope you enjoy it :-)

πŸ™Thanks for visiting πŸ™

I never heard of kartik ever before, but it sound like an amazing meditative lecture for oneself ^^ .. I am always fascinated about how many great and nature connected rituals are out there .. infortunately nowadays most people do not care to much about them anymore, but I am glad you tried it out with such an amazing result ;) .. always listen to your mom ^^
