National Museum Visit - Belgrade, Serbia

The National Museum is located in the centre of Belgrade and the entrance is free on Sunday, where you can see the entire permanent exhibition and of course, pay additional cost for the thematic exhibition. Permanent exhibition is presented on three levels and it goes from Paleolithic period to the modern art. Here in Serbia we have quite a few archaeological sites and, as a tourism student, I had the opportunity to visit a few but here, at the museum, everything is presented in a chronological way with the written information so it really gives you a full timeline. It was very interesting to see how people used to live, think, create over many, many years; materials they used, different techniques, what or who inspired them...

At the beginning of the visit I thought I wouldn't take any photos and just enjoy the time there without technology but I did snap a few shots later on. I wasn't even thinking about making a post about it here on Steemit, the idea came afterwards, otherwise I would start taking photos from level one, haha.
