Finally Drew the Chibi Version of My Original Character, RED (Digital Drawing Practice)

Hello beautiful people! <3
My throat is killing me today, so I didn't open any classes. T_T

Anyway, let's look at the brighter side of things. Not being able to work means I have time for my hobbies!!! For today, I chose to draw my original character, RED in chibi version.

You must have seen him in my previous posts, but this is the first time I drew him digitally. My drawing tablet has been asleep for the past few days because I tried to catch up with work... but yeah, it resulted on my throat. sigh Despite my condition, I hope you enjoy my drawing for today.




When I drew RED digitally last time, I really thought that he's handsome. However, this chibi RED is on another level. He's so cute. <3 Don't you think so? haha (I love my own?? lol)

Well, same as always, let me show you some screenshots of the drawing process. :) I hope you like it! ^^








As always, I start with the facial features, particularly the eyes. You might have noticed it, but yeah... I love drawing eyes. <3





Then, I finished the line art. In my past digital drawings, I often do the base color of one part and then the shadowing. However for this artwork, I tried doing all the base color first before applying shadow and details. Check the steps out below.





























I believe this style is more efficient. :) Though I still use a lot of layers, but it's OK. :) After completing the artwork, I colored the background and attached my username, signature and date. ^^








And there goes my baby RED. lol Of course, I made a gif version of the process. It's really interesting to look at. Don't you think so?
