This post is my entry for the bad horror movie review contest by @modernzorker.

Now, I don't like horror films. They scared the crap out of me when I was a timid kid and sometimes still do to this day. I think they were made to profit out of teen girls and women who are forced to bring their boyfriends and husbands all along to hold onto when the scary scenes come out.

Lifeforce, a science-fiction horror film released in 1985, is one horror movie I do not mind watching sometimes. Why, you ask? Because the movie always has large screen time scenes of a beautiful nude young woman with great natural tits and ass! 1985 was time indeed when hot actresses weren't yet plagued by the plastic surgery/silicone implants craze rampant among women celebrities today.

The Compelling Plot

Several astronauts on an important mission to Haley’s comet come across a mysterious alien vessel. Inside they discover two nude males and one hot babe sleeping in crystal caskets upside down from the ceiling. They bring them inside their space shuttle and Earth got no contact from them again.

An astronaut rescue team got sent to find out what the hell happened. The three sleeping bodies and one survivor were all that remained. All were sent back to earth. Things got boring until the 3 nude aliens wake up, walk like dazed bitches and start sucking the living energy out of humans as resurrected space vampires!

The film effects and music

When the space vampires suck out the human's lifeforce, the body looks like a dehydrated cadaver. This FX was done without the computer graphic effects common in horror films today. It sure looks yucky and scary. The over the top light FX at the end look kinda irritating to the eyes.

The music was pretty good too for an old 1980s movie.

The Nudity

The best reason to watch the movie! Newbie French actress at the time, Mathilda May, naturally rocks it as the always nude space vampire.

My Verdict

The film was an interesting twist portraying vampires, but it slowly became a cheesy mess. The vampire victim riots in London looks kind of done in a studio and feels cheap. The movie has many damn ideas and can’t execute it well. I still would suggest you check out this movie if you can rent or download it. 3 valid reasons: The early special FX in the movie are great, so you can watch a nice movie turn to crap fast and of course Mathilda May’s naked glory (the movie's best feature).
