The 27 year old American registered a team high 27 points and 8 rebounds to help his side see off the Jazz in overtime.

The Jazz who top the Western Conference and boast of the League best record (42 wins and 15 losses) feel short on the night.

While the Lakers were out with two top stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James, the Jazz were missing four important players- Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley Jr and Rudy Gober all out due to injury.

The game witnessed a large turn out of crowd with 1,700 spectators present at the Staples Centre
