Here we are for another amazing round of #beachwednesday this I would have to say is my favorite tag apart from #sunthursday !! In this episode I would like to bring you firstly to my home town of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia here in the town of Byron Bay we have five main beaches in total along the coastline and each one of them have spectacular views and are great surfing beaches. Tourist come from all around the world to enjoy riding these monstrous Byron Bay waves.

Still in Australia but now taking you to La Perouse Beach which is found in the south-eastern part of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. La Perouse Beach plays a important part of Australia's history it is here that Captain Arthur Phillip’s first fleet initially landed in 1788. Bare Island Fort Museum tells all the stories of the first fleet landing there including about the local area and the Australia Aboriginal people's stories.

Around the foot of Bare Island of La Perouse Beach you will find it's a very popular spot for scuba diving and snorkeling. It is here also that you will find some of Sydney's freshers seafood restaurants.

Now back to Thailand this here was crossing The Gulf of Thailand when visiting Koh Samui Island you can fly direct to the island of Koh Samui or you can fly to the mainland of Surat Thani then take a two hour journey on a ferry across to Koh Samui Island to Nathon Beach as we chose to do, which gave us more options to see more of the country side.

kohsamui_5.jpg

Thailand has countless amounts of beaches some are not even on the google maps while driving around the island we took many different of road turns that we ourselves did not know were they were going to lead us but most of the time it would take us to these little hidden gem beaches were there was no one to be seen but only the clear crystal blue waters. This beach we found on the south side of the island near Maenam Beach.

Of to American now we traveled along the California coastline stopping at various beaches with a coastline stretching for 900 miles along the Pacific ocean there were many spectacular beach landscapes to be seen and some of the most beautiful beaches like Carmel City Beach which offers bright white sand and lots of space to spread out on.

All of the beaches in your post look beautiful and very inviting, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I haven't been at a beach for over a year.

To me it seems you have left the best shot till the end - the sunset at Nathon Beach looks stunning 👍😀

The beaches at our lakes are nothing compared to your wide sandy beaches, but with mountain reflections in the water they can look quite nice 😉

That reminds me on a movie called "The best comes last" in German (English: Bucket List or so). I loved it 😀

Once again Happy Easter to you and to your family, my friend 😊

You have a great week too @kohsamui99 🔆

Thank you @joanstewart for your kind words, it is amazing how many beautiful beaches we have on this planet definitely no shortage of sea water.

No shortage of sea water, pity dry countries don't work together to address issues around using desalinated water for drinking and agriculture.

For now we will continue to enjoy the beautiful beaches.😄

I am surprised it has been thought of doing but no one has pushed these issues, i am sure one day they will need to do this.

My goodness, you are really helping make me feel fortunate to be surrounded by amazing beaches. The last couple days I have been waking up at 5am, and going to beaches on the east coast of ko Pha Gnan and taking some amazing photos of the sunrise. It's such a beautiful and peaceful part of the day.

Byron Bay where you are in Australia looks pretty amazing too. I just googled it and looks like there is plenty of sun and sand to keep one happy. The photos here in this post are really incredible. I just use my cell phone, but maybe I need to upgrade. You have a real camera?

Yes, Thailand's tourist areas are a friggen ghost town. Like a bomb was dropped and killed all the businesses. Haad Rin where the full moon party is; I think 99% of everything is closed. It's crazy going onto these incredible beaches, even the full moon beach where the party is...and right in the middle of the day there may be not one other person on it. It's insane. Then you go to Bangkok and Chiang Mai and there is plenty of organic economic activity that has nothing to do with tourism. Restaurants, bars are open. But you get close to any area that was all dependant on tourist dollars, it's destroyed. Even Koh San Rd. like a dessert in a sea of Bangkok economic activity. I personally am enjoying having the best of Thailand to myself, and at 50% off on accomodations, even better. Motor bike rental price is only about $60 USD a month for one of those newer Honda Clicks.

Anyway I meant to put you on my auto voter, but for some reason it didn't save. I just fixed it. So it should work now. I'm happy to support your efforts here, especially in this rising market. Exciting times.

Have a great day

Lucky you that you can walk over to the East coast of Koh Pha Gnan and take sunrise photos it would be so very peaceful over there without the tourist.

Byron Bay is a beautiful part of Australia i am lucky to be living here amongst all these beautiful white sand beaches. I don't have a real camera these are all from my Samsung S21 Pro smartphone they do a great job if used the right way.

I have seeing photos from others that i follow and are there in Thailand it would be the best time to be there during this time not only cheap but all the tourist island would be so clean and peaceful wish i could jump on a plane right now. Lucky you...lol 😊

And thank you for putting me on your auto-voter very much appreciated, i need to learn how to do that myself.

Take care and enjoy over there 👍

Yeah, I'm super fortunate to be here. Caught another sunrise this morning on closed cliff side resort looking down onto an empty haad rin beach. Almost apacolyptic going through there. But extremely peaceful, clean, and beautiful beaches.

That is funny, we have almost the same phone. I've got a Samsung. I've been ablt to take some better quality photos after playing around with the setting for some time. Including the panaramic fucntion. That helps with the big beach landscapes.

Regarding the auto vote it's my pleasure. I get to help you and keep my curation rewards flowing. It's a win win and really simple to set up. Just go https://hive.vote and set up yours if you want; shouldn't take that long.

Yes, Byron bay sounds pretty nice. Beats up-state New York where I'm from.

Cheers and hive on brother!

You really are super fortunate to be there within these covid periods lucky you so when are we going to see all these magical sunsets and the look of this island.

I use to be an iPhone man before till i discovered the cameras on a Samsung are way better they are a great phone.

Thanks for the info about the auto vote and i will go over and try and set it all up...Cheers 👍

Beaches are my playground and Byron Bay is my playground...hehe 😊

Take care and looking forward to these sunrise photos.

Hi @kohsamui99, you do live in a very beautiful spot in Australia, your photos are spectacular. At least in this difficult virus time we can go to the beaches without getting too close to anyone else. One of my favourite pastimes. A real plus being out in nature.

Thank you @angiemitchell it is a nice spot of Australia and a great nature area with many beaches where we can enjoy without all the city people around.

That is why we don't mind a beach that is not too popular with the tourists😊

Exactly although Byron Bay does get a bit touristy but we have a few more beaches near by we can escape to 😊
