Fayston Maple is a 10.1% alcohol/volume Imperial Double Stout made by Lawson's Finest Liquids in Warren, Vermont. Lawson's Finest is a very small family owned brewery created in 2008 that busts out top notch award winning batches of IPAs and Vermont-style maple brews. This cellar aged stout is strong and rich. Perfectly prepared to keep you warm and cozy on a cold winter's night.

The Can
The can of the Fayston Maple is bright orange with a yellow and brown maple leaf on the front. The back of the can features the following:
"Our Imperial Stout is brewed with loads of roasted and black malts and a hefty dose of Vermont Maple Syrup. The result is a rich and complex beer perfect for sipping or pairing with chocolate or dessert.

The Beer
Lawson's Finest Fayston Maple was exactly what I like in a stout. It was roasty, rich, strong and had a nice hint of maple. When you pour it into a glass you can see it's a dark beer. At 10.1% alcohol/volume, just a couple of these is enough to do you good. A great stout for keeping you warm on a cold winter's night. I look forward to trying more beers from Lawson's Finest in the future!
