A Forever Vibe
Nothing say hipster beer like a name like A Forever Vibe. I feel like I need to throw on some Hippy Sabotage, sit in the woods and sip on this beer. I could feel the cosmic energy pulsating from the glass. Well enough of that in all honesty this is an a pretty good beer. A Forever Vibe by Transient Ales is DDH DIPA that’s another shining example of Good beer from a great brewery.
A beautiful beer that pours a cloudy golden orange with a two finger creamy white head. We had some nice evening lighting that helped amplified the yellow undertones. There was also a ton of soapy lacing.
The aroma is pretty simple. I was picking up some orange, mango, grapefruit and heavy piney hops.
The taste is slightly more complex than the aroma, but not by much. I was picking up the orange, mango, some juicy pineapple and tart grapefruit. The finish had that nice piney hop bitterness.
With a medium body and mild carbonation it has a slightly creamy mouthfeel. The finish is soft and clean.
Overall, it’s another solid DDH NEPA from Transient, but it’s not a home run like I was hoping. It was fairly expensive so it was a bit underwhelming from that perspective.
Very interesting! I finally moved the rest of my beer into the fridge, so I might be able to try some of those out soon.
