Claimed my first Account Creation Token today!
Well I've always wanted to do this on Steem but with my limited Steem Power there I was not able to create/claim any 'Account Creation Token'. Fortunately, I now have close to 3500 HP on Hive so better late than never. I claimed one account token today.
Thanks to PeakD.com claiming one is easy as 1-2-3. Just head in to your wallet page and click on the 'arrow button pointing downward', the one immediately next to the 'Delegate' button. Click on 'Claim Account Creation Token' and you are done! Assuming you have enough Resource Credits (RC) of course.
Currently, I have 3453 HP and it cost me 72.76% Resource Credits (RC) of my current RC (was close to 100% before this). So before you try it, make sure that you have enough RC so that you won't encounter any problems in posting a blog post, making a comment or even voting.
Honestly, At the moment I don't have enough use for this.
But starting today I would continue to claim 'Account Creation Tokens' when my RC is full. Who knows maybe in a year or two, the apps/dapps in the HIVE blockchain would start to compete with popular social media apps we have now. At that time, I can finally invite some of my friends to try this blockchain and put those 'account creation tokens' to good use. XD
I had the same feeling when I did my first account claiming on Hive. Nowadays I don't miss claim accounts. During the Steem days, I really wished to do this but I was not eligible.
