I haven't posted anything in almost two weeks, and this is what I learned.

A couple of months ago I wanted to publish content more often, as I find writing as a way not only to drain my thoughts and emotions and help me move through life in a more enjoyable way, but also to add value, I like to think I'm helping other people with the things I share.

The truth is that I tend to find myself in a permanent conflict regarding blogging, and this is mainly because I don't want to write just for myself, if that were the case, I would limit myself to writing in a diary that I would keep for the rest of my life.

I think we all at some point came across this situation, of suddenly having all the desire to do something, all the determination, and then not being able to do it... it happened to me with my blog, and I think I've found the reason.

I share with you the few things I learned after not having published for almost 2 weeks.

Document > Create

That's right, documenting is more important than creating, if you want to maintain consistency in your content, you must give more importance to documenting, by that I mean, you have to try to extract value from the activities you usually do and then transmit it to your audience, I heard this concept from Gary Vaynerchuck and I think it is a pillar for a successful content strategy.

Share your truth

Currently, in this world of digital content, there are too many voices to listen to floating on the Internet, but if you look at those that are really heard, they all have something characteristic, and that is that most of them, speak their truth, by this I mean that provide value to the other based on experience or knowledge but always framing it as an opinion, not as an absolute truth, and is that among so many things to take into account, we forget how enlightening it is to simply listen to someone say: do it this way, it worked for me, look; I did it and I show you my results.

Human beings are constantly looking for results, and we are looking for someone to show us that what we crave so much is possible, but we are also reluctant to accept other people's realities, so it is always important to sell an opinion, not an absolute truth.

Find value in small things

At this very moment, I'm improvising, in fact, this same article is an excuse to publish something of value, and I've realized that one of the things that can help you most in a moment of indecision regarding what to post is simply find how to add value to someone else based on how to solve a simple problem, or help them see it differently.
