One of the favorites to win the tournament are out in the first knock out round and let's be honest - no one saw that coming.
Being 3-1 up at one point and then conceding a 90th minute goal must have been painful. Then, to have their top goal threat miss the deciding penalty? Such drama.
The Swiss must be ecstatic. No one gave them much of a chance against the World Cup winners but they're the ones progressing to the next round.
Saw a post on instagram of how the previous world cup winners get knocked out in the group stages of the following world cup and on this form, I think it will happen to France in 2022.
Of course, that is if the world cup happens, since everyone is panicking about the delta covid variant now.
