New Life!

Hey everyone, if the last year has taught me anything it is that out of darkness comes light, out of evil always rises good, saying that the tough last year has given me a new found feel good hobby and this, where I find my peace and relaxation Growing new life, and for me that is bonsai trees!

I recently germinated some new trees, have you ever heard of a lucky bean tree? Well I grew one..

Erythrina lysistemon is a species of deciduous tree in the pea family, Fabaceae, that is native to South Africa. Common names include common coral tree, lucky bean tree, umsintsi (Xhosa), muvhale (Venda), mophete (Tswana), koraalboom of kanniedood (Afrikaans), mokhungwane (Sotho) and umsinsi (Zulu). It is regularly cultivated as a tree for gardens and parks.

Description
Common coral tree reaches 30 to 40 ft (9.1 to 12.2 m) in height, with smooth grayish bark, not corky; hooked prickles scattered on trunk and branches; leaves with 3 leaflets, up to 7 in (18 cm) long, petiole and midrib prickly. The tree is leafless for up to 4 or 5 months of the year. The lovely scarlet red flowers are borne in dense racemes in spring before leaves and attract numerous birds and insects to the garden. It is hardy to USDA Zone 9b. More here as per wikipedia.org

This is how I germinate most of my seeds. Put them in a shallow in a container and the sun for a few days and then plant in the soil in the sun, it's works an absolute dream!

Those bright red seeds below are lucky bean seeds must be the pretties seed out?

This amazing little leopard tree I recently germinated, it promises to be an incredible little bonsai Tree I believe!

Another little Acacia Thorn tree recently germinated which I shall nurture and plant into a new bonsai pot soon.
