Boulders and a Black Bear on a warm August day.
Boulders and big rocks wonderfully rest in the landscape all year round.
Boulders decorated with dusting of new white snow on a cold wintry November day.
For a brief time I lived in a couple of different places where boulders and rocks were scarce and pretty much absent from the landscape. Amazing how I truly missed seeing them here there and everywhere.
I've been settled down now for many years in one location and gladly back being with my many close neighboring boulders, rocks and bears.

My mom would be so jealous! She has always wanted to see a bear in the wild. Your boulder photos are great, as always. I love the ones with the snow dusting them. Even though it means the cold weather is there so stay for a while.
