Caturday: cats in the garden,พาแมวเดินเล่นในสวน

Happy Caturday to everyone! My cats seem to get used to sleeping on the east table inside the house these days. They looked so comfortable and secured sleeping there. I started to be afraid they might become less alert and watchful. I didn’t want them to get too secured and comfortable that they might become less vigilant about stray dogs charging into the garden.

So, I had to persuade my cats to take a walk in the garden in the evening. They ought to be spending more time running around playing like they used to when they were younger. These days they were sleeping and eating too much. I did not see them climb trees any more. I had to put my cats on the cork trees and mango trees to make it easier for them to climb up.

เราเริ่มสังเกตเห็นว่า แมวส้มของเราเริ่มเคยชินกับการมานอนบนโต๊ะทางทิศตะวันออกในบ้าน มันพยายามขอเจ้ามานอนทุกวันตอนที่เราอยู่ที่บ้านสวน มันนอนกันทั้งวันโดยไม่ออกไปวิ่งเล่นในสวนเท่าไร แมวส้มเอาแต่กินแล้วก็นอน จนเราเริ่มกลัวว่าพวกแมวจะเคยตัว และไม่ว่องไวเหมือนเมื่อก่อน เราอยากให้แมวมีความตื่นตัวและคอยระวังตัวหากมีสุนัขหลุดเข้ามาวิ่งไล่พวกมันในสวน เราจึงพยายามพาแมวไปเดินเล่นในสวนตอนเย็น

เราอยากเห็นแมวปีนต้นไม้ได้รวดเร็วเหมือนตอนมันอายุและน้ำหนักตัวน้อยกว่านี้ แต่เรียกเท่าไรพวกแมวก็ไม่ยอมปีนขึ้นต้นไม้ให้เราดู เราก็เลยจับแมวไปแปะอยู่บนต้นไม้ทีละตัว เพื่อให้มันปีนต้นไม้ง่ายขึ้น แมวจึงยอมนั่งเล่นบนกิ่งไม้และปีนเล่นบนกิ่งไม้ต่อไปเอง เราชวนแมวเล่นซ่อนหาในสวนด้วย เพื่อให้แมวได้วิ่งเล่นออกกำลังกายด้วย การมีแมวในบ้านก็มีประโยชน์หลายอย่าง อย่างน้อยพวกแมวทำให้เราได้ออกกำลังกายในสวนมากขึ้นเหมือนกัน

Having cats is very beneficial in several ways. At least my cats made me walk and exercise more in the garden and I become more aware of changing surrounding of the garden. I could also play hide-and-seek with my cats including chasing them around to make them climbing up trees for safety.
