Caturday Mornings
Caturday greeting folks and kitty cats.
Saturday seems a lazy day here in the household. Sunday Cat is watching a bit of fur hoping it is a mouse.
”It doesn’t seem to be moving. Can’t you help? I’m bored and need to chase a mouse”
I brushed my other cat Red this morning. His long hairs make him look scruffy and he seems to shed more than Sunday. I think that is stray fur from his brushing on the floor.

On a Caturday Red likes to take it easy and rests on top of the china cabinet where he can see everything going on.
King of the world sleeping on his throne. :)
It’s part of a cat’s nature to chase and eat mice. Since they are inside cats they look for anything to chase. Their mouths water watching Tiny the little red squirrel through the windows.
Tiny is smart and knows Red and Sunday cannot get outside to chase him. He teases them from the safety of the outside rail on the deck.

Cats sure know how to relax @adalger. We could learn some lessons from them. Tiny Says ‘Hi’ and to tell you he is going strong and doesn’t seem to mind the snow - he makes little tunnels sometimes and travels that way.

The really do like to chase things, whether it's a real mouse or just something that looks like one.
Lucky for the squirrel that they are indoor cats, they would make one bite out of him. Hehe!

No mouse lives in the house with Red around. One day Red was waiting when I opened the back door and make a dash towards Tiny. Tiny will come right up to the door when I open it to give his morning treat.
As Red exited, Tiny moved fast and climbed up the deck pole. Thankful it was cold and snowy out and Red didn’t like the feel of it and I was able to get him back in the house without an incident. Now I have to watch when opening the door if Tiny is at the back door as Red would love to dash out and get him.

Hi Keith! The cats really enjoy the warmth from the wood stove. There’s no heat like the wood gives off.

Thanks @justclickindiva. I fear for little Tiny if Red ever escapes again. One morning Red rushed out the door when I had it opened to feed Tiny but I got him back in without incident. The snow was a good deterrent. He didn’t like the feeling.

Cats look very relaxed in front of the fire, doubt they would wet their feet outside.
Little squirrel is too cute looking into the home as if to say "scaredy cats".
Hi Joan! Red didn’t like the wet on his paws and it stunned him long enough for me to catch him and bring him inside.
Tiny has been teasing Red and Sunday every morning recently. He gets to the back deck early as he likes the nuts I give him. It is funny watching the Blue Jays trying to chase him away.
