Who's kneeling on your behalf?

I woke up in the middle of the night, picked my phone and saw that the battery was almost flat. As I searched for my charger, I remembered I had left it in the parlor earlier that evening while watching the red table talk and went to bed.

Summoning energy to stand, I reached the parlor eventually, only to behold this beautiful sight. Momma was kneeling on one side of the room, praying quietly..

For a moment, I paused and thanked the heavens for this woman. I knew in my heart that her prayers over the years has contributed to where I am. It also dawned on me that I would have to fill her shoes one day for my own family and not only did that thought slightly increase my heart rate, It also came with doubts on my readiness to take on that role...was I ready? Nope!

It's not enough to pray for yourself when you can, we all need someone at one point especially in those moments of weakness.
