Apocalipsis 2:1-7
1 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Efeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el que anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro, dice esto:
2 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu arduo trabajo y paciencia; y que no puedes soportar a los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos;
3 y has sufrido, y has tenido paciencia, y has trabajado arduamente por amor de mi nombre, y no has desmayado.
4 Pero tengo contra ti, que has dejado tu primer amor.
5 Recuerda, por tanto, de dónde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; pues si no, vendré pronto a ti, y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar, si no te hubieres arrepentido.
6 Pero tienes esto, que aborreces las obras de los nicolaítas, las cuales yo también aborrezco.
7 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que venciere, le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.

En un juzgado de familia discutía una pareja, y el esposo decía: "Es una buena madre, respetuosa, servicial..." Y continuo agregando otras virtudes, pero al final, de manera fría, acotó: "pero ya no hay amor". Esta conmovedora frase anulaba las muchas otras buenas virtudes con las que contaba esta destacada esposa.

En la biblia encontramos algo similar. El apóstol Juan, en apocalipsis,escribió lo que el señor dijo a su iglesia en Efeso: "Yo conozco tus obras, y tu ardua trabajo y paciencia; y que no puedes soportar a los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos; y has sufrido arduamente por amor de mi nombre y no has desmayado. Pero tengo contra ti que has dejado tu primer amor".

El amor inalterable de Dios es una virtud que un creyente no debe perder. Podemos hacer cualquier cosa por el señor, pero sobre todas las cosas debemos amarlo.
Las personas pueden estar llenas de virtudes o de flaquezas, podrán cantar o llorar, quizás reír o tal vez sufrir peor siempre deberá haber amor. Quien ama, sufre; pues es difícil amar sin sufrir y es difícil vivir sin amar.

Recuerde como después de su conversión su amor al señor brotaba de su corazón. Hoy tal vez continua trabajando en la obra, quizás mas que antes pero si no lo esta haciendo con amor, es solo rutina. Deténgase y regrese a su primer amor y no deje que nada se le interponga en este afecto de comunión con el salvador. ¡NADA!

Es difícil amar sin sufrir y es difícil vivir sin amar!

In the bible we find something similar. The apostle John, in apocalypse, wrote what the lord said to his church in Ephesus: "I know your works, and your hard work and patience; and that you cannot bear the bad, and you have proven those who claim to be apostles and they are not, and you have found them liars, and you have suffered arduously for the love of my name and you have not fainted. But I have against you that you have left your first love ".

The unchanging love of God is a virtue that a believer must not lose. We can do anything for the Lord, but above all we must love him.
People can be full of virtues or weaknesses, they will be able to sing or cry, perhaps laugh or perhaps suffer worse there should always be love. He who loves suffers; for it is difficult to love without suffering and it is difficult to live without loving.

Remember how after your conversion your love for the Lord flowed from your heart. Today perhaps he continues working on the work, perhaps more than before but if he is not doing it with love, it is just routine. Stop and go back to your first love and don't let anything get in the way of this affection of communion with the savior. NOTHING!

It is difficult to love without suffering and it is difficult to live without loving!
