Giant Tree And Lantern Inside The Mall

I finally saw this beautiful tall Christmas tree inside the SM Mall in Clark Pampanga earlier today. The lock down made me miss a lot of little things that I usually see during the holidays. The base of the tree is actually a giant lantern the province of Pampanga is famous for. We call it parol or lantern. The craftsmen of Pampanga are so skillful in creating these kind of lantern and they help the province achieve the title: Christmas capital of the Philippines.

Look how wide the spaces are inside the mall. Well lit and beautifully decorated but the number of shoppers at this given moment on this shot are less than ten including me. Sad but the atmosphere is still beautiful and makes me happy. Gone are the days when you are literally rubbing elbows with other shoppers especially on these days during and post holidays. I really miss seeing swarm of shoppers. I hope we will get through this pandemic soon.
