Výborná hudba to ještě podtrhuje.

I will remain as a glutton of Asian films this time as well. This time with a delicacy from the crime scene. A drama that caught me from the beginning to the end and didn't let me go. This film is called Internal affairs. It is a film that served as a model for Martin Scorsese's Oscar-winning film Departed, which film stars as Jack Nicholson and Leonardo Di Caprio.
That is why I will often compare Internal affairs with this film. So how did this film stand up to a more famous American colleague, at least in my opinion? At least what can I say is that the story has a bigger gradient and the heroes are much more human than in the Departed. There is a much more romantic, almost lyrical note. The shots with the camera are well thought out, underlining the work. Plus, what Andy Lau and Tony Leung act you won't see quite often. Great music further underlines this. An excellent crime thriller, which has definitely not taken place in the Czech Basin yet.

(official text of the distributor):
Two cadets forced to follow two different paths. Ming was recruited by the leader of Hong Kong's largest gang to infiltrate the police as a secret spy. Police Yan, meanwhile, successfully infiltrates the gang and gains the trust of the mafia boss, and Ming is promoted to CIB, the Special Intelligence Unit. The police suspect that someone is stalking in its ranks, so they need a heron.

leo is just for the reaction of leo holders just to know if I get some ;-). Be kind, rewind.

Infernal Affairs was quite enjoyable and humane as you say. But IMO, The Departed is a better cinema because of Scorsese's superior direction and visual comedy.
