From amazing to PURE SHIT!: November 3 2019
I am lucky. The fucking cows lived, but my truck did not. I and Jax, my dog, are both fine. The truck is now in the yard at home and I have to figure out new transportation.
I am worn the hell out after yesterday and today. We cut our way in the road, then I climbed Knighthawk without a fall, then I killed my truck dodging cows, we towed it off the tree and to the side of the rd, I slept at Art's, I made my calls this morn, AAA picked it up and towed it to the farm while Art drove Jax and I home. Tonight I get a rental for a while. Tomorrow I start trying to figure out what I do next.
I am fucking sad, tired,and sore.

Likely not able to save it. It trashed the front left corner pretty bad. Shitty since I really liked my truck. I wish I would have hit the fucking cows, at least then I would have meat.

Yeah an 05 Tacoma. Came out with just a bruise and scrape on my chest from the seat belt and on my shin from hitting the area around the pedals.

Only about 25 mph but I had to floor it to keep me from rolling down the hillside. My speedometer is frozen at 18 mph so I assume that was my impact speed.
Fuck me dead. Lucky you're not dead. The step count is a bonus

Dude, I've seen some nasty deer hits, but a cow, what mass and low center of gravity..........Should have bought a RAM........Joke inclusive........Good luck on the repair.
Yeah I have hit deer before on purpose rather than swerving but tend to shy away from cows. This is that one time though where is would have been slightly better to hit them than the tree. At least the RAM would have been taller so I could have driven right over the dumb animals.

Yeah I new right away it is dead. The tree split the battery open upon impact and the engine stopped dead.

I hit a 5 point buck with my 66 Mustang once. It was many years ago, and I am still sad.
That would be awful. Was it the fast back or regular version? I had a 69 Cougar that I blew up years ago and I miss that thing all the time.
