Fantastic day of climbing

I am so destroyed. We worked our asses off today but the route is now set. We have no name for it yet but it has 4 bolts leading into the finger crack. The route should be a solid 5.8. This pic is before we cleaned everything. The bushes were one of the major things to remove.

The cleaned route. I have a blister on my hand from all the scrubbing with the wire brush. But it is worth it since we now have 6 routes established around Colville.

I am sore, tired, my skin hurts, and I am ready for bed. Actifit post tonight then a better post about the climb tomorrow.

Looks rad! Does the route have a name yet?

I've seen a few people from back home develop a crag -- so much work goes into it. Very cool that you're willing to do this.

We have yet to name it. Nothing really presented itself for this climb like the Knight Hawk did.

I have grown to love developing new routes. It is sooooo much more work but is ultimately extremely satisfying. The hardest part for me is that I can see new routes everywhere but am no where near good enough to climb the vast majority. I am super content to be putting up sub 5.11 routes.

Likely going to be going to climb Gimli in Valhalla weekend of 7th. Super stoked for that!
