Cobra Kai - The Best YouTube You'll Ever Watch

So my family and I recently finished up the second season of Cobra Kai on YouTube.
For those who haven't heard of this show, it brings back the original actors from the 80s movie "The Karate Kid". I'm sure as you read this, you're visualizing something "cheesy and dated". And to a certain degree, you'd be right.
But it WORKS!
They've expertly balanced retro charm, nostalgic references, and modern sensibilities to create an engaging story that is both familiar and yet full of unexpected twists.
What started out as an amusing distraction turned into an obsession. Little by little, more and more family members found themselves squeezing onto the sofa for the next episode.
Johnny Lawerence became our hero.
Pretty soon, one episode wasn't enough. We needed to know what happens next! We found ourselves binging through multiple episodes at a time.
And then suddenly, there were no more episodes to watch! Like the rest of the world, we now have a giant void in our souls as we eagerly await Season 3.
I am honestly surprised by the production quality of the show. I wasn't expecting that from YouTube.
So if you're looking for something that's fun and kicks ass, go check it out. It's not really necessary, but you get bonus points if you go back and watch the original Karate Kid first. The show provides enough flashback scenes to make it optional, but it's still fun to re-visit an 80s classic.

I'd been recommended this series for months and like you, thought it wouldn't be worth my time and that it would be cheesy. I was wrong, so wrong but so glad. For a sec I thought this post would be about season 3 being out, I should downvote you for getting me hyped.
And man do they have some great osts, this one has been in my hype playlist since then.

If you like Umbrella Academy and Stranger Things, then definitely go watch 'Dark'! Yes, it's spoken in German but there's some freakishly good stuff being made in Europe lately and I don't want you to miss out :-)
