This is my entry for #ColorChallenge and #Thursday: Green, turquoise by @kalemandra

It is part of this place, integral to life, yet also a thing unto itself. At the edges, it tempts the rich soil to join the cool waters just as much as the humble leaf litter that lies on top.

ColorChallenge is a photography contest based on photos by observing your surrounding and capturing different colors that are assigned for a particular day of the week.
Photos expected in a day.
#Monday: Red, brown, earth colors
#Tuesday: Orange, bronze, fiery colors
#Wednesday: Yellow, golden
#Thursday: Green, turquoise
#Friday: Blue, silver, white
#Saturday: Indigo, black
#Sunday: Purple, pink
