Small Progress - December 20, 2019 @goldenoakfarm

Since he got the back door on last Saturday, he’s not tried to do any more work out there. It’s been bitter cold or snowing. After a few days rest, and an aborted fishing trip on Wednesday due to snow and high seas, he’s been working on the electrical plan.

The laundry was a problem. I’d lost enough inches in building that I’d tried to move the washer and dryer over by the door, to give me more folding counter space. But he wanted to vent the dryer out the north wall and moved them back again. He was also trying to fit my utility sink back into the laundry. Once he had those things in, then he’d do the electrical part. I’m not sure if he succeeded in the laundry room yet.

The contentious roundtop jamb extensions were sitting on a truck in our driveway when we got home Friday afternoon. At some point in the next couple weeks, he will tear the roundtop apart and see if this is going to work.

In the meantime he will work on estimates and the electrical plan. I’m not sure if he’s doing a plumbing plan, but he does need to find a plumber. All these will keep him occupied when it’s too nasty to work outside.
