Corona Virus Update in my Town

I am completely under lock down now, I can't go out in the streets all businesses are closed here and this is getting very boring I am used to my morning 10k walk. The government's order is that nobody can go out in the streets or they will be placed in jail. Now people here don't really worry that much about these types of orders and you can always find a lot of people on the streets. And actually if there are a hundred people on the street and they are arrested will they put them in the only jail the police has? Wouldn't that make the police a scofflaw as the most that can be together is fifty people.

Now the news about the virus is really bad, but I somehow think it is not as bad as they want us to believe, not even 200,000 cases after over two months of its apparition, we have more cases of dengue here in a year. 200,000 for the whole world is not really that big and yes I know probably not all cases have been made known but still it is not as contagious as we have been led to believe we would surely have tens of millions by now if it were.

Around social media there is a news going around that certain medicines like Ibuprofen only make the virus worse, this was said by someone from the French health ministry, then a lot of doctors said this is baloney, there is no certified test that backs this. The truth is nobody is an expert on this virus. For example many people say that salt water cures it, again doctors said it doesn't work. Now I am sure no doctor has ever put a coronavirus patient under salt water treatment, and yet they "know" it doesn't work. So they don't know how to cure it, but know everything that doesn't cure it, actually that isn't much help.

Does salt water cure coronavirus? Well I don't know but if someone out there believes it does why should I tell him he is a fool for believing that when I don't know if it works? Then you have seen videos of health workers spraying disinfectants in public places, yet experts say they don't know how to kill the virus, so they just think that spraying is good, again like salt water they don't know if it works or not. Granted cleaning things is a good idea, but we don't know if that kills the corona virus.

At least being locked up I can see all the drama that is going on on Steemit, in fact what is going on all over the world.
