Costume ball šŸŽ

I love costume ball, it is especially interesting for me to watch how others have dressed up. This costume ball is another interesting activity that happened at the camp.

People's need for disguise and disguise is as old as humanity. More vultures were smeared with mud on their body and face to stay as seamless as possible and to hide from prey or enemies.

Masking as a way of disguising our identity and liberating ourselves from the "grip of society" can be found in all cultures of the world - from the Celts and ancient Romans, to the peoples of today. And, while the ancients believed in the ritual power of wearing masks and the opportunity for gods to be so gracious, today's people in this custom see the opportunity for good fun and fun.

And when we think of masks and mass masking, then we are definitely talking about - masquerades.

Masked bales were made in Europe in the 15th century. They were first organized by members of the royal families and nobility and were almost exclusively intended for guests from upper class circles.

There is no information on exactly where the first masquerade was held, but most anthropologists agree that it originated from the need for freedom and "escape from reality". At these kinds of balls, girls could talk to the boys without fear of being accused of immorality, the king, just like the beggar, could be the dance star of the evening without anyone to look at him, and the courtly madman could, just like and any nobleman, to engage in conversation and charm the court ladies with no disrespect for his position.

It's fun to dress up :) We do it here on Halloween, and also for some parties sometimes. You had a lot of fun activities at your camp! :D
