The media has run with COVID-19 for the past 5-months, and the accumulating anxiety is too much for many. Amid a shaky world where investors are running to gold and Bitcoin, we need to keep perspective.

The threat of job loss, pandemic lockdown and the worry of unknown and malignant side effects (incredibly rare) among even the healthy are making people anxious. Anxious people make bad decisions.

Anxiety is the result of a fear of the future. We are nervous that something may happen in that future, and we may suffer.

Turn off the TV and stop listening to sensationalist news stories. The media is working overtime to try and showcase healthy people cut down by COVID-19 and vulnerable populations suffering along side them. We all have loved ones we want to protect, and the news is stirring up primal emotions to frighten us.

Make sure you eat right, exercise and keep perspective on this virus. We cannot worry about tomorrow, for today has enough to frighten us.

Anxiety can take a huge toll on a person. A person who stays in doors and fails to exercise is actively hurting their immune system which means that when they do get COVID19 their symptoms will be worse.

It is interesting to look at Vitamin-D. Vitamin D regulates the immune system and blood clotting. There appears to be a strong correlation between vitamin D deficiency and the severity of the disease.

Vitamin D is produced when the UV-B rays from the sun hit the skin.

A person who stays indoors will become vitamin D deficient and will suffer worse if they get the disease.
